What does MOBA mean or stand for ?

MOBA is a type of gaming experience that is part of the action strategy genre of online multiplayer games.Since the advent of broadband,there have been a rise in multiplayer online games where each player can control a character on screen from their own homes.

They are required to defend a  base as part of a team and can even communicate with each other in real time in order to coordinate efforts to infiltrate the enemy base and kill other – enemy players characters.Some of the games that employ this strategy are Warcraft and League of Legends.
