What does E BEAM mean or stand for ?

Electron beams are a thin ray of electrons that are released from a negatively charged cathode.There are many uses of E-BEAMs and these are used in all industries,namely the semiconductors industry,electronics,medical radiotherapy and e sterilization. A large exposure to these beams can prove to be fatal but a small concentration can have healthy benefits to the body.
